The life-blood of my music is improvisation – the “archetypal form” of music-making. Improvisation is at home in all styles of music. In my improvisation I combine traditional with modern means of expression. The basis for my inspiration is the acoustic piano, the grand piano- its pure unadulterated sound. The Oasys synthesizer from Korg offers me the full range of sound possibilities for generating and realizing my ideas - also in projects with other artists. I am influenced by classical music, jazz and traditional music and inspired by such composers as Frederico Mompou, Benjamin Britten, Claude Debussy, Eric Satie, Oliver Messian and Ernest Moeran.
